It exists. And just now I was doing something in firefox. Firfox went fire fox after pretending to be a mediocre browser, temporarily buffing my thinking I could look up umm " boost " cheat codes for metroid: dreading the EMMI. Fire fox froze, the whole fucking os..if it were a game I'd think it went linkdead or was getting DDOS'd. after smashing the shit out of control shift esc the fucking perc meter wouldn't show up. hitting the physcal switch FINALLY had microwanks "great" anouncement: oh btw we just hit yout with several updates you didn't want. First of all: what is even the fucking point of have a process meter to tell apps to fuck themselves... IF HALF THE THE FUCKING TIME IT WON'T WORK WHEN I NEED IT TO? So yeah why I hate Windows 11? it exists.
Looking at stability, give them a year more. Regarding the rest of the experience? Well, I’m sticking with Windows 10 for now.
really few things stand out about what triggers: MS has been developing OS's for about 40 years. Throughout that time, it appears they haven’t made much progress. Windows seems to be a weak imitation of Apple or Android. Windows 11 looks great visually—just the colors and design are quite appealing. I’m impressed with them, but the rest makes me want to rage-quit and go all out on OS to fix everything. It would just freeze or stutter, making it unstable. Looking up strategies for a switch game causes it to crash? That’s wild! ROLPOLY. You’d probably have a better chance if Anonymous or L0lsec had known sooner. -_- It would be frustrating to revert back to Windows 10 only because I doubt it would let me easily roll back changes. Was W10 that annoying at first? It doesn’t seem that way. Or maybe I’m just forgetting something.
Android essentially mirrors Windows and MacOS, with Windows serving as a counterpart to MacOS. The challenge lies in how Windows is built to function across diverse platforms, whereas Android is optimized for specific devices. This design choice means Android doesn’t get the same long-term support as Windows (except for Chrome OS), which often struggles with compatibility layers and outdated systems. While Windows has historically prioritized maintaining support for a wide range of applications, this approach can slow progress and create technical hurdles. On the flip side, releasing updates could help preserve its relevance. In its own right, Windows remains a powerful platform, capable of running older software and adapting to new hardware, even on ARM architectures. It’s a testament to its engineering that it continues to evolve despite these challenges.
Windows has been really unstable since Windows 7, so I’m sticking with W7 until I can. Once that’s done, I’ll try Linux or a modified version of Windows 10 with all the unnecessary features removed. Windows 11 is a fresh system, and if it works out, stability should improve. But if it ends up bloated like Windows 10 did, things could get worse over time. It’s a bit risky, but hopefully it won’t turn into a disaster. Still, I’m cautiously optimistic that it won’t be as bad as Windows 10.
Firefox became unresponsive for a specific reason that affected the system. Possible causes include a driver issue, a faulty hard drive, or a problematic program. More details would help identify the exact problem. Generally, this isn’t a common issue and doesn’t appear widespread, suggesting it might not be Windows 11. If you’re concerned about the OS freezing, it could indicate a sandboxed environment like UWP, which Microsoft developed but faced resistance from users. Performance inconsistencies are typical with Win32, as it can vary in speed. There are fluctuations in performance you’ll experience.
This problem can happen with Windows 7. It affects Win32 apps regardless of the OS version. These apps run freely, not in a sandbox, especially before Vista, and it gets worse on 9x days (including ME)
They replaced the QC role so now we handle testing across all platforms—OS, games, and more. The QC team moved to TP because they wanted to boost sales despite being sent there to avoid self-promotion. They exploited the situation. People still disliked Vista, but now it's Vista.
