Hope everyone is doing well. I have two questions. First, someone from Microsoft told me that the USB drive for Windows 10 Media Creation Tool needs 4GB, but the site says at least 8GB is required. Which one is correct? Second, my motherboard (ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi) requires a BIOS update for my CPU. Should I install the BIOS update first and then Windows 10, or should I install Windows first and then the BIOS?

It will fit on a DVD, so 4GB should be sufficient. What is your CPU model?

It might be necessary to install a BIOS update. Then you can proceed with Windows.

The 4GB drive isn’t enough because the installer file is bigger—about 6 to 7GB. You should use at least 8GB of storage. You can simply download the ISO and run it directly on Windows without needing to burn it onto a USB drive.

Consider a 16GB USB drive for extra security.

You don’t need more than 8GB. Adding 16GB won’t improve security. Do you have an extra 8GB SD card from your phone? You could use that instead.

Insert the SD card into the appropriate slot on your PC. Make sure it clicks in securely before proceeding.

It is referred to as an SD card reader. Ensure it uses a single port; using multiple ports may not function properly with the USB installer.
