Secure boot can be turned on freely, but it won’t function properly if Windows was installed in legacy mode. Check the system information and look for details about the BIOS mode.

The system still retains its previous setup. It originally ran Windows 8.1, and after upgrading to Windows 10, the changes are now in place.

It's best not to try this unless you're very experienced, as it might harm your computer.

The best approach is to turn off the CSM in your BIOS and then reinstall Windows. Others might propose hacks or scripts, but I only support legitimate methods.

Widgets are back? I'm all in! Probably just a Windows 10 update.

You don’t have to replace Windows 10 entirely. Switching to UEFI is fairly straightforward, especially if your motherboard supports it.

No Secure Boot required. Just ensure your OS is set up for UEFI and TPM is active. Secure Boot functionality is acceptable but not mandatory.

They said they’d be there when it comes, so I like things arranged just right from the start—everyone’s got their own way.
