Hello there! I set up my old PC as a NAS/plex media server with OpenMediaVault and want to connect from my office. I’m thinking about using a VPN—maybe there’s a better option if you know. OpenMediaVault has an OpenVPN plugin, so I’d like guidance on installing it properly. Thanks for your help!

Setting up the open VPN server requires only a few commands. Obtain the access server package from https://openvpn.net/index.php/access-ser...as-sw.html and install it using the provided link for your environment. After installation, access the admin portal created by the installer to adjust configurations.

You should set the DHCP DNS server and public IP address in the settings. The UDP port 1194 has already been forwarded, so you just need to configure those values.
