Hello, I'm really new to home networking beyond just modems and routers. I'm getting ready to renovate soon and all the walls will be coming down, making this a great time for a big upgrade. I've watched some videos and have a few items in my Amazon cart. For Ethernet, I plan to buy Cat6 cables, and the electrician will run them through the walls and ceiling as they're installed. This setup covers three bedrooms, two offices, and the living room. Am I prepared for the hardware side? Are there specific cables I should be aware of that aren't listed? Do I need a separate PC to handle this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
He chose the TP-Link Omada Controller to manage the APs. Regarding the CCTV, I believe it won't function.
Yes, you can run Windows 11 on your Pi5 by installing it as a virtual machine or using a live USB setup.
