The router needs a lot more capacity than what you're using. It has to handle significant data volume and physical space requirements.

House details: 2 floors, 1900 sqft, 4 residents. Main uses include streaming and light gaming. Noted that placing two walls farthest from the router helps. Found this to be an overkill, but it was the cheapest option I saw that could cover nearly 1900 sqft.

SB6190 runs the Puma 6 chip, which has reported problems. For a 32-channel modem, consider a Docsis 3.1. If that's not feasible, a 24-channel option might be better.

Thanks for the feedback! I noticed Puma 6 had some issues, so I’ll likely switch to a more reliable option for faster internet.

The advertised coverage differs significantly from actual coverage. You may wish to explore a system with a repeater.

I’m puzzled by why measurements are given in square footage. I thought a house with 2,000 sqft on one floor would behave like a smaller space, similar to a 1,000 sqft building. It seems the units are stacked rather than linear, which helps clarify how far a router can reach. In a single-story home covering 2,000 sqft, it’d need about 22 feet in each direction, while a two-story home would require roughly 15 feet per side, extending to the next level.

Welcome to why Sq Footage is a dumb measurement. Also usually a lie.

I'm not familiar with this business, so I can't represent their views. Consider checking out ASUS and exploring routers that work with AI mesh networks. That should provide a range of choices.

It looks like most of the reviews came up as suspicious, with around 70% flagged as fake. That raises some serious concerns.
