Last week I completed the setup of my office internet using Spectrum. Right now it runs on an Arris Modem/Router setup, which I recognize as subpar and intend to replace. The main issue is connectivity. Out of the five computers linked to the network, only my laptop—a Dell Inspiron 15-7577—is experiencing difficulties accessing the internet, whether via 5G Wi-Fi or Ethernet through the phone system. Essentially, I can connect to Wi-Fi for short bursts (up to a few minutes) before losing service, but still remain tied to the 5G network. The same problem occurs with Ethernet, though I find 5G more reliable. This inconsistency makes sense only if something is wrong with my computer itself. I've attempted to renew my IP address using commands like 'cmd' and 'ipconfig /renew,' but it didn't resolve the issue. I suspect the problem lies on my end, as the router appears functional. I've attached a CMD log spanning about 10–20 minutes of pinging 8.8.8.8. Note: If I disconnect and reconnect from Wi-Fi after losing internet, I regain access. cmdlog.txt

This Saturday, turned off the Wi-Fi or network card driver and restarted the computer. The issue was resolved right away.

I took five minutes to reconnect after restarting, but the issue persists. Appreciate your assistance!

It's worth a shot—four hours on Saturday, half your only break... Hope you have a great time!

Check if connecting to other networks causes the same problems.

Apologies for the delayed reply; it applies solely to this network, irrespective of Wi-Fi or Ethernet usage

This appears to be a long-standing Windows issue that many users struggle with and often end up trying to fix by reinstalling the operating system. You might consider testing a Linux distribution such as Ubuntu from a USB drive for fun, though I hope it works smoothly.
