Hello, I've noticed some delays when streaming and playing games lately. My ISP advised upgrading my plan to see if that helps, but they mentioned it might not be enough. I found a log entry in my modem showing something like this: 2018-12-28 17:36:29.00 [DOS]UDP Packet - Source:192.168.0.3,2007 Destination:192.168.0.255,2007. Is this a denial-of-service attack or just normal activity? Any guidance would be great.

I'm facing the same issue both on Wi-Fi and Ethernet. I'm checking this thread to find a possible solution.

Usually, when my internet isn't working, I just power off my router or modem. Your equipment seems fairly recent—what connection rate are you receiving? What rates are you seeing? (speedtest.net might be a bit odd compared to Google’s, honestly; I’m used to Mbps.)

Restarted and confirmed all connections are secure. Multiple resets completed. Regarding hardware age, the modem is roughly four years old; I’ll verify with my ISP about new equipment. My PC is approximately one year old. For speed, paying 25Mb typically yields fluctuating results—sometimes 23Mb, other times below 8Mb. It seems the issue might lie with my ISP. I’ll investigate further. If you have more questions, I’ll keep this discussion going.

192.168.0.255 is likely a broadcast address. You might try tools such as Wireshark to inspect the traffic.
