Hello! I'm new to this overclocking world. You have a GA-P55M-UD2 board with an i5 750, 1GB LGA 1151 socket, 8GB RAM at 1336 MHz, and a 650W PSU with an 80-pin bronze power connector. Need advice on boosting the i5 750? Feel free to ask!

the cpu isn't a k processor, which means you wouldn't be able to overclock much. you could adjust the base clock, but it doesn't always result in a reliable system.

It was a surprise when I saw a video showing someone boost their system to 3.6 GHz without much detail.

The improvement would be small and you might face stability problems. For a low-cost speed increase, consider a refurbished i7 compatible with your motherboard.

You might boost the RAM or GPU speed, but proceed with caution. Welcome to the discussions, and good luck on your overclocking journey!

Your motherboard supports many affordable Xeons. A model like the Xeon X3450 could boost gaming performance.

Thanks! I figured no one would respond to a beginner, but your RAM and GPU are fine. The main issue is with the CPU, and your GPU is a 2GB 10GB model.
