Packet Loss?
Packet Loss?
Your connection works well most of the time but has occasional packet loss. I've checked all the tips on YouTube, hired a technician, and replaced the router—still no clear solution. Could you share more details?
You should clarify whether packet loss occurs between nearby devices like your router, mobile hotspot, tablets, or computers, or if it happens between your device and the broader internet. Provide details such as your connection type—whether wired or wireless—and specifics about your equipment, including its brand, connection method, and the internet service provider. If using a wired setup, describe the wiring location, specifications, and adapter type (cable, USB, built-in). For wireless, mention the model and connection standard.
It's an issue affecting all wireless gadgets and the internet. USB connections on PCs and phones are impacted. Cable connections also face problems.
By nature, Wi-Fi involves some data loss unless the setup is extremely simple. You're essentially sending signals through the air, relying on them to travel the distance. If the devices are too distant or use outdated Wi-Fi protocols, this issue will persist.
The router supports MIMO dual-band AC and the receiver does too, which improves chances. However, some signal loss will still occur due to the issues already discussed.
