Hello. For someone just starting with Linux, removing the French language pack can indeed make your system run faster. To delete it, use the command: `sudo dpkg --remove <package-name>`. Replace `<package-name>` with the actual name of the language pack you want to remove.

Moved to Linux, macOS, and all non-Windows platforms. It wouldn't work. Files left unused on your drive don't affect system speed.

Sure, let's simplify this.
Removing unnecessary text files shouldn't really improve performance.
For a real boost, consider switching to a minimal operating system on an SSD.
