Hello! On the Asus site they mention no ECC support, but some users have managed to boot the board using ECC RAM. It doesn’t matter if it’s in ECC mode or not—just as long as it starts up properly. I’m curious if there are any modified BIOS versions available that could allow booting without ECC support.

It’s likely the board would work without issues using ECC RAM, though the ECC protection would turn off. Problems would arise when trying to use RDIMM modules on a board that only accepts UDIMM or has mixed RAM types.
