I recently purchased a new motherboard (P8B75-V) and it offered the ability to overclock, which was a nice bonus. I planned a gentle overclock for my i5 3570K to reach around 4.0 ghz, but when I tried to adjust the BIOS settings, I couldn't find an option. Anyone have any advice or help?

You cannot overclock.!
Asus offers this kind of capability for Haswell non Z mobos, but only when paired with a Pentium Anniversary G3258. With your ivy CPU, you need Z77. If you want improved gaming performance, consider a better GPU. The i5 3570k is a powerful CPU.

It's possible to customize the P8B75-V card a bit beyond the standard 3.9 turbo settings. However, adjusting the multiplier isn't an option. You need to increase the bclk using the CPU voltage settings.

I've achieved a stable 4.134 GHz peak with an i7-3770k on the stock card using these configurations:
BCLK 106, CPUV 1.16, CPU + Volt Offset 0.11, CPU Volt Freq 300khz, CPU Amp Cap 120%, iGPU Amp Cap 120%, CPU Power Phase Extreme, all fans at max speed.

With improved cooling, I'm targeting around 90°C/195°F during heavy loads with Prime95 and Linx.

If I receive an Asrock Extreme4 card soon, I plan to upgrade it with a custom Corsair liquid cooling setup. This would allow me to reach 4.5 GHz+ without needing a full overhaul for several years.

That's essentially what the 75 chipset is about, though I haven't seen any signal issues or data loss at speeds up to 106 or even 105 to 103. I performed several stress tests without any errors, but we won't collect more than 24 hours of data. Mobo is being replaced today.
