It looks like a stick isn't being recognized. Please remount it and adjust the slots. Check each stick individually to identify any that are faulty.

Tannbash offers a superior option from aliexpress. Many users face problems with KLLISRE RAM being dead. Tannbash verifies the RAM before shipping. They provided me with 16GB DDR4 memory, and based on my setup—AM4 X370 chipset—I tested it successfully. Even though your system uses one of Intel's less ideal chipsets, socket 775 still struggles with memory issues. What processor are you running on your motherboard? It might only support up to 4GB DDR2.

You're wondering if there are single-sided DDR 2 4GB memory modules available. While 2GB versions exist, many people assume 4GB sticks are dual-sided as well.

I mentioned DDR3, but there are G41 boards that work with it—though I wasn’t sure if the OP’s setup supports it. They still have REG sticks available.

your cpu is a dual-core intel core 2 duo e7500 at 2.93ghz. the cpu zipper identifies 4gb in both slots, but bios only shows 4gb available.

Yes, that sounds correct. Each stick contains 32 chips.

32 pieces per stick? The black blocks visible in DDR2 DIMM searches are excessive and likely won't function.
