What a confusing system you're dealing with! It sounds like a mix of points, scores, and some weird scoring rules. Let's break it down:

- Points: -24 for a loss, +25 for a win.
- Recent changes: Dropped from 650 to 1175 in two days.
- Loss streak: Lost 3 games in a row, ending at 970.
- Then won 2, with each win giving +19 points.

It seems like you're tracking something that fluctuates wildly, and the numbers don't add up easily. If you can clarify what this system is for (e.g., a game, app, or platform), I can give a more precise explanation!

played on comp mmr separately from quickplay mmr. When you beat equal sr opponents, your gains are minimal; against equal sr you lose significantly. Against higher sr you gain a lot, while lower sr losses are only slight. Winning against lower sr gives almost nothing, and losing to them causes major setbacks. (assuming the mmr level matches the earlier description)

Essentially a secret code like SR but different, it helps determine your pairing.

I'm here to help with your question, but I need a bit more context about what you're referring to with "your kdr and what not?" Could you clarify?

MMR stands for Match Making Rank, a secret metric Blizzard employs to connect you with players of comparable abilities (like KDR, playtime, wins/losses) who are interested in Quickplay, Arena or Seasonal matches. It doesn’t rely on your raw skill level directly but uses MMR as a proxy, especially useful when players have vastly different ranks and skill sets—such as a group of 6 random users aged 50 to 150 being paired with a team of 3 high and 2 medium players around 4 AM.
