She's substantial and moves at a moderate pace when on the ground. Using weapons like a shotgun, heroes such as Reaper can bring her down swiftly if you manage to surround her. Alternatively, you might choose to adopt a strategy similar to Bastion.
I'm lucky to have managed to take her down with 76 or Pharah. Removing the mech isn't the problem—it's quickly taking down Dua before she calls for another mech.
You shouldn't be concentrating on her at first. Eliminate the squishies right away. Once they're all gone, then target her. This applies to all tanks except roadhog. Shooting him speeds up your ultimate build. If you're struggling to reach the squishies, zenyatta's discord orb plus mcree, reaper, or soldier 76 work well. Applying a mercy buff to your DPS is also beneficial. Avoid playing trash heroes like bastion; it doesn't help. I'm not sure anyone would think Mei has enough DPS to defeat DVa—she's more of an off-tank than a DPS hero. Edited October 25, 2016 by ivan134
Mei and Zarya excel at defeating D.Va. They both manage to penetrate her shield with their main attacks, and it's straightforward to remove her from the mech if she freezes. At 50% or more energy, Zarya can easily break through the mech, while both heroes have effective strategies for escaping Self-Destruct and protecting their allies.
