You're just starting out in competitive FPS games—pick something with clear mechanics and fast-paced action to help you build confidence.

I've focused on CS:GO, but I suggest trying Overwatch if you're open to it.

If you're playing solo, go with cs:go. For friends or those looking to connect online, try Overwatch. Playing overwatch alone in ranked matches can feel a bit off, but it's more relaxed compared to competitive play. It's also visually more appealing than cs:go.

A hilarious thought—no one enjoys solo 5v5 games with AI opponents in CS GO.

CS:GO isn't designed for aesthetics. Choose it if you value challenge and dedication. Opt for Overwatch if you're after a lighthearted experience.

Paladins are free and I think they’re more enjoyable than Overwatch, TF2, and CS:GO. CS:GO offers excitement when you focus on honing your skills; the fights are intense and demand a lot of precision. It can be fun, but when the weapon sounds changed I just gave up because it felt like relearning everything. Overwatch is a more polished take on Paladins, with similar ideas but a smoother experience overall. Paladins might not be as thrilling as TF2, but they’re definitely worth trying for free.
