It’s been roughly six months since my last PC upgrade. I’m using an Rtx 3080 and a Ryzen 7 5800x. Overwatch has consistently run at 300 fps or higher during that period. Recently, I received an error stating my graphics card is over locked, preventing the game from running properly. This seems unusual because my card wasn’t over locked before. Every time I launch Overwatch, the system crashes and drops to around 63-64fps. I’ve adjusted video settings, turned off v sync, reinstalled drivers, and even reinstalled the game twice. When I tried Call of Duty, it worked fine with high FPS. Could you suggest any other steps or settings to try? Thanks for your help—I’m stuck.

Confirming the system—didn't notice any FPS restrictions built into Overwatch directly?

I also looked into it; I adjusted for display settings and increased the frame cap, too. I really double-checked it several times because I thought I missed something.

Did you just set up an app? Look for something useful for Windows 10 and consider using the Windows Restore feature on your computer.

I experienced the same problem—solving it meant disabling the Overwatch Chroma integration in Razer Synapse. I then returned to my locked 144 game mode right after making that change.
