I've checked numerous sources. It appears Overwatch doesn't support a 4:3/5:4 aspect ratio. On my second PC, the best display I own is 1280x1024. It seems I don’t use it much, but it’s okay until I upgrade. Overwatch restricts full-screen mode. I haven’t found any solutions for other games that lack widescreen or frame rate limits. I suspect there might be a configuration option I can modify in the game settings. Help would be appreciated!

I think you're really struggling with the 4:3 or 5:4 format—clearly you're using a lower resolution just to avoid an unfair edge.

In other titles, my width stays wide while maintaining a full-screen look without distortion.

TF2, Paladins – it's free, way more intense than Overwatch, and you'll be fine with a 4:3 ratio. HiRez is a brand I'd avoid at any cost.

Yeah, Paladins is great and it's a big change from Overwatch, but it's not really solving my problem. I'm okay as long as I keep going until I get another monitor.
