My PC (built in November 2021) has faced some issues recently. It freezes often, loses signal, and doesn’t boot properly. I’ve tried various fixes but nothing worked. Checking the BIOS revealed that my RAM might be getting too much power—see the attached note. The recommended voltage is 1.35V. I’m using an XMP profile, but without it, the problem persisted. Also, the "+5V" reading shows 5.070V for the RAM I have: G.Skill Ripjaws 3600MHz, 2 x 8GB. Sorry for the unclear English; it’s not my first language.

It's not substantial enough to label it as overvolting. The values fall within the error range, and measurements may not consistently reflect accuracy.

Motherboard voltage measurements tend to be fairly reliable, with minor variations of about .03V from the actual value. The PSU voltage readings also stay within acceptable limits. The DIMM voltage is normal, and most memory chips in these kits are robust enough to handle small differences between 1.35V and 1.37V without issues. In fact, maintaining stability might even improve performance. If you suspect memory problems, run Memtest86 for a short period. A passing result suggests the issue isn't with the memory. If it fails, consider raising the voltage or adjusting frequency/clock speed.

I checked my RAM using memtest86 and it crashed due to too many errors. It seems one RAM module wasn’t working, which is why it failed. Thanks for the assistance—it resolved the issue!
