Overheating laptop Asus X553m
Hello, I discovered this old laptop and when I powered it on it became very slow. I chose to replace the hard drive with an SSD and upgraded from 4GB to 8GB of DDR3 RAM. When I turned it on it began to overheat and the fan spun extremely fast, reaching around 80-90 degrees. I reopened it to apply thermal paste again. The next time I tried it it cooled down slightly, dropping about 10 degrees, still around 70 degrees. After a few minutes of Windows booting up, the temperature gradually rose to the maximum and the fan started spinning very quickly, like at the beginning it was silent and at the end it sounded like a plane. Anyone knows if there might have been an issue during the opening process? The laptop is an Asus X553M. Specifications:
Processor: Intel Pentium N3540 with Intel HD graphics
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz
SSD: 240GB Patriot Burst Elite
