Overheating issue with the Ryzen 5 5600X
Hello everyone, I'm checking if a temperature around 65°C is normal for my CPU. It seems to spike under load, and it maxes out even when idle. I tried applying a negative curve of -30°C on my board, which helped a lot, but the idle temps still feel off for my setup. My machine is a Ryzen 5 5600X with an MSI B550i WiFi, using the NZXT H1 (version 1).
The 65C idle performance is extremely poor. The 5600X is quite simple to keep cool.
Consider exploring alternative pastes or products. Since the current one works reasonably well, you might want to research better options. The cooler is located at the bottom grill area, but because it's a closed-loop airflow unit, I'm not sure what steps to take without more details.
Check if iCUE indicates the pump is active and consider swapping the CPU module.
