Hi, I decided to build a pc in fractal ridge, which was not the greatest idea, came with some complications. I also probably underestimated power of the cpu and installed NH-L9x65 and lately my cpu is thermal throttling. Installed the thermaltake bend correction frame which helped to some degree but the cpu still runs hot, I am also planning to experiment with undervolting a bit but did not have time to do so. I did some research and found out about a cooler, which should be suitable for my use, it is Id-cooling IS-55. However only place i can get it in our country is from aliexpress from this seller: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10050048...dp_ext_f={"sku_id"%3A"12000030770286019"%2C"sceneId"%3A"13125"}&pdp_npi=2%40dis!CZK!1326.73!1021.03!!!!!%402101d1c316756276996734224e00bd!12000030770286019!rec&spm=a2g0o.store_pc_home.smartJustForYou_681350971.1 I am not sure about this way, never purchased something from here, do you think it is legit? My concern is if this cooler fits with my current MB and RAM (will all be listed below) and if not if i can modify it to fit. Also if anyone has some other alternatives/solutions I am happy to hear them! Thanks for any input, I am not that experienced and building/gaming is only my freetime hobby when I get a bit myself time. the cooler appears to be a basic low-profile design, typical of prebuilt units which usually experience thermal throttling. the fan design doesn't seem capable of delivering sufficient cooling for the processor. 120x15mm fans aren't suitable for this type of cooler.
Can't you secure an NH-L12? The larger fan would be beneficial.
It seems larger possibly. A quieter dark rock TF2 might work better and be simpler to find https://pcpartpicker.com/product/GTpzK8/...oler-bk031
I faced overheating problems with my 13600kf as well; even with Stocks clocks and all BIOS settings off, it was still throttling on a 360mm AIO. The Thermalright CPU contact frame helped significantly, bringing my temps down to around 80°C or less. Now I can run all P cores at 5.5 and all E cores at 4.3 without any throttling.
