They all need a cap, and when you purchase your CPU it might mention the specific limit. Higher temperatures over time can cause damage or worsen performance, so keeping things cooler is ideal. For stress tests, it should be fine, but prolonged gaming or heavy tasks aren’t something you want to endure.
