Adjust speed to 5600 manually. Overclocking RAM is usually not stable.

I understand you're curious about why a different setting might perform better. Let's explore that further.

I didn't mention this recently because I was tired, but my CPU is both undervolted and has a 90-degree thermal cap. I used a much stronger undervolt setting before, which caused more instability, so I'm now using a -0.100v offset or possibly -0.010v. I don't remember it well, but I'll add it to the list of things to check or try tonight.

Try the XMP profile and adjust it to improve stability, but neither solution is effective. It might help testing with just one dimmer first.

Since the link to the software in the instructions you provided was broken and I couldn't find any up to date and functional version anywhere, I did it with the alternate manual instructions. This is what I got when disabling the services for the first time, the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and The Windows Installer were "not started". The prompt also returned nothing when I renamed the folders as was instructed to do, but I'm not sure if this is normal or not. I'm also now getting some weird things happening after doing all this and trying to launch event viewer, the first attempt gave me a big red access denied prompt which concerned me. It didn't give me the ability to allow access or anything. The second time it did actually open, and came with these pop-ups. After closing the .NET framework prompt I received this, which option should I choose? (EDIT) Well this last prompt has disappeared at some point, I didn't click on it so I'm not sure which one it chose. The "Waiting for all snap-ins..." prompt is also still there and actively loading. Also running the sfc and DISM checks again after doing the first step yielded nothing. Edited June 5, 2023 by jeffnorsegod new info
