Since I left the heater off after work, ambient temps should be about 18*C to 20*C / 64*F or roughly 68°F. At 66*C idling with a 240mm AIO, it’s definitely warm. If you’re at 66*C, expect 75*C+ load. Checking the case airflow by removing the side panel on the H710 could help—if temps drop noticeably, that might point to airflow issues. I don't have a 8700K, just 3770K and X5690. The lows 80s is fine, I would try to stay out of the 90s, but if you are stress testing its fine. The CPU will let you know when it isn't happy, it always does. I just noticed you are not overclocked in anyway.. interesting. I would look closer at your CPU cooler, going on 2 years now.. she's getting some grey hair now..
