I remember a problem I faced with the NZXT z73 before I sent it back—it was like the fan wouldn’t work properly, so I wasn’t getting much cooling. Could be a similar thing, but not sure. Just a thought. EDIT: Nvm

Could require reinstalling the CPU module and applying fresh thermal paste.

Those temperatures seem off. I understand it's a high-core/thread-count CPU, which usually produces a lot of heat in a compact area. However, I wouldn't expect significant thermal throttling.

Running idle at 1.4V is typical for Ryzen processors. The voltage you chose seems reasonable—ideally under 1.275V to prevent overheating during normal operation. When under load, it should drop closer to 1.275V, but keeping it above 1.4V confirms the chip is functioning properly.

I adjusted it to 1.25V but the temperature stayed at 55 degrees.

My stats show consistent performance under medium-to-high CPU load for the last three hours. The system ran at 3950x with an NH-D15 cooler, and temperatures stayed below 83°C.

3950x usually stays idle between 50 to 65. My version behaves similarly under factory conditions.

I'll attempt my old V8 GTS to determine if it helps clarify the issue.
