Overclocking: Turning your computer to run faster and cooler than normal.
I just tried to speed up my graphics card today by boosting both the core and memory clocks. I used MSI Kombustor, but the temperature stayed below 78 degrees. Is that really good for overclocking? My card is an EVGA 2070 Super which is awesome.
Anything below 80 degrees Celsius is totally okay. You don't need to panic until it gets close to 85 or higher. Even then, your main risk is getting the graphics card too hot and slowing down on its own. Nothing will break, but things like speed or performance will get worse or change.
