Overclocking the gtx960
Overclocking the gtx960
I have a PNY EVGA superclocked GTX 960 and I was aiming to push it further, but I did... the base clock speed is about 1127mhz (at least that's what I found), and it took me three hours to gradually increase the overclock. The result is this image: http://imgur.com/APGhKNj. Is that typical? I doubled my clock speed... What do you think? It seems stable, with idle temps around 44°C. That image also shows it running at max load. I'll share another image once it's uploaded.
Sergeant_Sneaky is asking about the load temperatures and mentions the difficulty of achieving those speeds. They request to see the overclocking settings from MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision, noting that the temps are unusually high.
Swazzie asked about the load temperatures, noting the limitations of air or water cooling. They requested to see the MSI Afterburner/EVGA Precision settings and confirmed the high temperatures observed. The question also seeks clarification on what the core clock displays in Afterburner during operation.
