If I upgrade to an i7 6700k OC with a clock speed of 4.6Ghz, has my multitasking improved?
Example: Running multiple programs such as VMware Workstation, playing games like BFhardline and GTA V. My main worry is whether this change will affect multitasking performance.
I don’t care about FPS; my main question is about how multitasking will perform.

Manually adjusting priorities and limits can improve multitasking, but o/c alone won't alter much since each program will still consume the same CPU capacity—it will only run slightly quicker.
