I’ve overclocked my 9900K to 49MHz all cores @ 1.285v, LLC-5, Cache Ratio-43. The thermal tests with Prime95 Small FFT AVX disabled and Aida64 Stress FPU showed max temps of 72°C after 15 minutes. I’ve completed Realbench Stress Test (16GB RAM) and Prime95 Blender (AVX Disabled) for two hours each without any problems. My next step should be deciding whether to keep running longer stability tests, try a higher clock speed, or focus on optimizing this build. Since I’m new to this, any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Play around with the game. Check your temperatures. If you're aiming for 5.0GHz and gaming temps look fine, go ahead. Make sure to save that configuration to a profile beforehand, so you can revert if things get too hot during play. You'll be the one deciding what's acceptable, we just suggest if something isn't right—though you might not agree even then. Good luck either way 🍀👍
