That's the issue sometimes. Consider reducing voltage by adjusting vcore to offset minus the recommended value.

Does this reflect your typical profile? (F6 toggles between EZ mode and Advanced) https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe...40v2.2.pdf Refer to page 47. Performance settings Core performance Boost might allow PBO on this board since Precision Boost Overdrive isn't referenced. On the same page you can adjust voltage and possibly change offset.

I'm currently working as a student intern and experimenting with FreeNAS, but I can't wipe the drives until someone else in IT approves that everything is safe. That's where we stand now.
