I was just experimenting with overclocking. I’m not usually someone who does it. My latest try with Ryzen Master forced a Windows reset because the BIOS got corrupted. Once things were sorted, I managed to overclock a Ryzen 3600. I started at 4.3GHz, similar to gamers nexus, but instead of their 1.4V I used 1.35V. After a Cinebench 2.0 test, everything ran smoothly. Then I increased to 4.4GHz and still no issues. Later, checking with hwinfo showed the voltage stayed below 1.3V, so I adjusted it to 1.300V at that frequency and it worked well again. I then pushed it to 4.5GHz, but after a couple of seconds Cinebench crashed. Looking at videos from JayzTwocents made me realize that crashes often signal a limit being reached. They mentioned my setup was unstable at around 4.4GHz and 1.3V. After some research, it seems 4.3GHz is the typical ceiling for most builds. Since I’m at 4.4, does that mean my CPU is performing better? Or is there something else going on? Single-core speed is about 508MHz.

It looks like you've found a strong benchmark. Just keep your OC stable for what you need. Cinebench isn't the best measure for stability. My 3700X consistently scores around 4.4 across all cores without excessive power draw, which is impressive compared to most users. (Most people aim for 4.3 all-core.) Everything else works fine, but the game I play most often (Mordhau) keeps crashing. That's why I went back to the stock version. In gaming, I didn't notice a big jump in FPS.

Leaving the app without shutting down the system indicates it's near instability. The R20 rating isn't overly concerning.
