I'm pushing my PC to its limits for peak performance. Currently running at 4.0ghz with 1.35 volts. Is this the optimal setting? Here are your specs: MOBO: MSI A320M-A PRO MAX CPU: AMD RYZEN 3 3200G CPU COOLER: COOLER MASTER ML240L RGB V2 RAM: OLOY 16GB 3000 PSU: EVGA 600W STORAGE: 320GB SSD, 800GB HDD THANKS.

It's best to avoid pushing the CPU beyond its limits. This board is among the least powerful and lacks a built-in VRM cooling system, so adding extra stress could damage it.

I believe lowering the frequency will help it reach stable speeds around 1.25 or 1.2v, since hitting 4ghz at 1.35v indicates you're near the limits of CPU performance. Running at 3.8v for 100-150mhz only adds a small gain, which means diminishing returns.

You have five fans and a 240mm AIO. Do you think that’s acceptable? Regarding the RAM, can you turn on XMP and set it to 3000 MHz?

Everyone’s cooling efforts won’t fix bad motherboards. High voltages would still destroy them. I’d follow what @Somerandomtechyboi advised. For XMP settings, just turn it on without issues.

This setup seems very off-balance, focusing heavily on CPU cooling while ignoring the motherboard. Even with perfect cooling, an A320 would still limit your performance and eventually fail if the cooler reaches its limit. For future builds, consider discussing this on the forum to avoid similar issues.

The phrasing could be a bit strong, but I fully understand.

Sure, I understand—this might remind me of an unbalanced setup, but I believe you should consider creating a forum thread if you're planning to upgrade your PC.

That's perfectly fine. I didn't realize I needed to bring it up. Upgrading to the MSI B450M Bazooka Max WiFi sounds like a solid choice.
