Overclocking Ryzen 3 1200AF Focus on performance enhancement through voltage adjustments and cooling solutions.
I just purchased a Ryzen 3 1200AF and wanted to push it overclocked to around 3.8 GHz or higher. I set the multiplier to 39, which currently puts the clock at 3950 MHz. In Task Manager it shows the base speed as 3950 MHz, but when using Task Manager or other tools, it caps at 3450 MHz for boost. The usage peaks at about 87%, reaching 3450 MHz. I’m not sure where things went wrong. My voltages are 1.350V and 0.9V.
On the hardware it shows clock speed at 3450.2MHz with a max temp of 57°C. The same values appear in cpu-z.
