CountMike provided some guidance on the voltage range, mentioning AMD's specifications and past experiences with BIOS settings. He clarified that the discussion was about the VCore rather than the SOC voltage, noting that earlier advice about staying below 1.2V was outdated.
Yes, exactly, I'm following the 1.1 manual and even though it shifts a bit by a few mVolts, anything above that didn't help much.
I've adjusted the SOC voltage to achieve stable RAM operation, moving from 1.35v to 1.3v as requested. It's hard to locate current guidelines on secure SOC levels, but I hope it's within safe limits.
Update - this Flare x ram setup is impressive considering it's Hynx. Running it at 3,074 Mhz (100.25 x 30.66) and successfully handling Prime custom blend with 18 GB of RAM used so far. I had to adjust the timings to 18-17-17-39 1T. Still need to run memtest but everything looks good!
I'm having trouble changing the command rate on this board. The BIOS set it to 2T, but CPUZ and HWiNFO show 1T. It's unclear which is correct. Probably the BIOS?
