I’m just getting started with PC gaming, let alone overclocking. However, I learned it can be beneficial for getting more value from your parts, so I decided to give it a try.
My first step was with the GPU, the Power color Red Dragon. I used performance tuning in the Radeon software. I was told that GPU overclocking doesn’t usually harm the card much, which gave me some confidence. I set it to 1460Mhz with a voltage of 1.2v and a memory clock of 2200mhz (Power +50%).
After that, I installed Unigine Heaven to check its performance. It ran smoothly most of the time, though I noticed occasional stuttering in the same spot. After restarting it with default settings, the issue disappeared. I ran the benchmark for about 30 minutes without any crashes, which seemed like a solid test.
During this time, temperatures reached around 78-81°C.

My questions remain:
1. Why did it stutter slightly but consistently in that area?
2. Was there any damage to my GPU?

Feel free to ask for more advice or details.

1. The stutters might happen because the GPU can't handle the proper or incorrect overclock settings.
2. No, I've pushed my previous RX 480 to its maximum voltage just like the 1050Ti without any harm. Only excessive voltage can cause damage.
The main concern is your PSU; RX 400/500 models require a lot of power.
My RX480, for example, normally uses 220W on the stock setting, but with undervolt and overclock it drops to around 180W.
