Overclocking RX 570 8GB
Overclocking RX 570 8GB
Hey everyone. I’m planning to set up a new PC soon and had a query about my GPU. It’s an RX 570 with 8GB of RAM. I’m curious if overclocking would be worthwhile and what the potential risks might be.
Which model do you have?
Do you own it or intend to purchase it?
It's a bit more challenging to push recent AMD cards beyond their limits, as they are already heavily optimized by the maker. You can still try overclocking, but it's usually not very high unless your components are of exceptional quality.

Overclocking recent AMD cards is a bit more challenging now, as they’re already heavily optimized by the manufacturer. You can still attempt overclocking, but it’s usually not extreme unless your chips are of very high quality.
I own this one: [link](https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a...38566&SID=...)
The packaging mentions “OC,” and I already have it, but it hasn’t been added to my system yet.
This one shouldn't be overclocked much further—it's already factory-optimized and clocked high before being turned into an OC version. The main issue is that it's a budget model. You can still overclock it, but don't expect big gains. Keep the overclock low and avoid furmarking unless you're willing to risk damaging the card quickly. It's best to bench and test in Unigene Valley or Heaven; if it runs smoothly without crashes within an hour, it should be stable.
Yeah this one won't go overclock much further. It's already factory overclocked and clocked high before becoming an OC version. The main issue is it's a budget model. You can still overclock it, but don't expect big gains. Go easy on the overclock and avoid furmarking unless you risk damaging the card quickly. Test it in Unigene Valley and/or Heaven—continuous settings seem stable if no crashes occur within an hour.
