Overclocking RX 550 4gb
Overclocking RX 550 4gb
I've been adjusting the settings on my RX 550 4gb lately, but it crashes mainly when running heavy games like Final Fantasy 15. I set the GPU clock speed up by 15%, memory speed to 2000 MHz, and power limit to max with AMD Global Wattman. Anyone know the best stable overclock for this model?
Test it, most games allow you to use MSI afterburner to change clocks while they run.
No one can say for sure which clocks will improve, since GPU overclocking is quite simple and there aren't many extra settings to tweak.
If I were you, I'd set your OC to 13% and max power draw to 120%. If FF isn't working properly, errors might appear. In very rare cases, it could lead to crashes during autosaves and result in data loss.
There are no universal settings. Every chip behaves uniquely, leading to different overclocking results. Some chips perform better than others. If this applies to you, do you have advice on achieving a more stable and powerful overclock? Should I aim for a lower GPU clock speed compared to memory frequency?

I managed well with my own Overclock 1404 setup, using 1206 memory. My performance reached 1900 at 1500 MHz.
