I understand my previous lack of knowledge, and I'm here with you. My current speed for my Patriot Viper 8GB (2x4GB) is 1066Mhz according to CPU-Z. I want to know if this is the maximum my motherboard supports and if I can boost my RAM's clock speed.

What is the CPU/APU? How can I enable the XMP/DOCP memory profile in BIOS?

The CPU is an AMD Ryzen 7 1700x. I don't understand what xmp/docp means or how to turn it on.
