Overclocking Ram discussion
Changing the default speed from the motherboard's setting to 3200MHz on your 3200mhz RAM is not considered overclocking.
CPU is i5 10400f with MSI H510m pro-e, max speed 3200MHz. I know about XMP but wanted more details.
You can adjust the RAM speed, and it could work well. It relies on whether your motherboard can establish consistent auto-timings at the chosen frequency. Usually, lowering it to 2666 should be stable since it's a slower setting and the board handles it easily.
