Overclocking RAM
Overclocking RAM
It might be worth updating the BIOS, though it's unlikely to make a difference. The best chance seems to be increasing the DRAM voltage after applying XMP settings. I've noticed that using four dimms often causes issues when trying to achieve higher speeds because it adds extra stress on the memory controller.
Hello! I'm trying to increase my RAM's speed but I'm running into a problem.
I'm using an Asus motherboard with an Intel Core i9 10900K.
When I try to apply the XMP profile, it automatically sets a frequency, but when I save and reset it doesn't seem to work.
My setup has four 16GB sticks (3600 GB total), and currently I'm getting 3200 MHz, which is the maximum allowed.
The adjustment of voltage didn't resolve the issue.
Combining two RAM kits wasn't the solution.
