I’d like your thoughts on the best upgrade path based on the details provided.
The specs show Prime95 reaching 55 degrees max, and it’s running well with small FFTs. Should I trade in the 4300 for a higher-end model like the 8350, or should I test a watercooler first before upgrading when new CPUs arrive? Everything else on the rig seems sufficient for my needs—gaming at 1080p with maximum settings.
Keep in mind the current setup is at 1.325v, so it’s still far from its full potential.
Hardware: QuadCore AMD FX-4300, 4800 MHz (24 x 200), Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO.
Graphics: Asus Crosshair V Formula, MSI GeForce GTX 660ti, N660Ti PE 2GD5/OC, 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP CML8GX3M2A1600C9, 64GB M4-CT064, SSD, WDC WD50, backup drives, and a certified power supply.
Power: Zalman Z9 U3 with multiple 140mm fans, Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750, and an Acer H223HQ monitor.
Software: Windows 7 Professional 64bit.

Hello everyone! I'm running FX 4300 at 4.9GHz stable. My motherboard is GA-78LMT-USB3 REV 6. The configuration is: FSB at 228x, CPU Multiplier at 19.5x, North Bridge Voltage normal, DDR3 Voltage normal, CPU voltage at 1.3450V, CPU NB VID Control at 1.21V (still within the white zone). Temperatures are around 50 to 60 °C during full load. I'm using two DDR3 sticks at 1600MHz (1824MHz due to FSB increase). I play games with a 1080p 23-inch LED monitor. My GPU is a Galax GTX 1050 TI OC edition, and I can run most games smoothly on ultra with at least 60 fps for extended periods.
