you're aware that overclocking is possible on B-series boards, but what are the benefits or drawbacks compared to Z-series? you're considering coffee lake and are curious if OCing on B-series will be a significant disadvantage versus Z boards.

From what I grasp, B series chips are primarily designed for business purposes, suggesting the motherboard has distinct input capabilities compared to standard ones. The Z series, on the other hand, is tailored for gaming, making it more suitable for overclocking efforts.

Last year you used the H270 Hypers with an external BCLK for overclocking on the locked CPUs... but Intel has since stopped allowing this again.
