Hi Guys,
I'm new to overclocking and would like a guide please.
Spec:
Amd x4 860k 3.7ghz cpu
Amd radeon r7 240 gfx card
Thermaltake contac 16 cooler
I have downloaded cpu-z and amd overdrive.

1.392v at 4.3ghz boost the multiplier in bios and achieve a cooler with 2 or 3 heatpipes. The overclock depends on your power phases; your motherboard should have a minimum of 5 good phase, up to 6 or 7 is sufficient for 860k. Be careful—overclocking isn't a game and can lead to hardware failure if not handled properly. Just be cautious.

Make sure your current setup has the right power supply and motherboard for the changes you plan.

Before starting any modifications, make sure you have the correct size and quality power supply unit along with the appropriate motherboard. Do you have that?
