Overclocking My System
Overclocking My System
I'm new to PCs and wanted to know how to overclock my system. I was wondering if someone could walk me through using BIOS and give tips on doing it effectively. The AMD Wraith Stealth cooler is the stock cooler, so I'm not sure if that matters. Any advice would be really helpful! Thanks!
bb code is more visible, it blends in well, lol. Stock cooler works just fine. Enter BIOS, locate VCore voltage and CPU frequency or multiplier—if the former, type 3700; if the latter, use 37.0 as standard. Gradually raise VCore voltage until stable. Stable state: run realbench or aida64 stress test for over an hour without issues. If it crashes, doesn’t boot, or fails to power on, switch off the PSU and set it to "O". Remove the CMOS battery on the MB for a minute, reinsert it, power on the PSU, and restart. Keep track of every adjustment you make. If instability persists, raise VCore voltage again. Use Ryzen Master to watch CPU temperature; ensure it stays below 85°C under load.
