Hello, my old PC (built late 2012–early 2013) is now in a second home in China (I’m based in the UK). I enjoy playing a lot of ARMA and FM games, so I’m looking for extra single-threaded performance for my FX 8320. Here are my specs:

- Large RAM: 750W (large, aiming for 750W)
- Big case: Fractal Midi R2 with many well-set fans
- Air-conditioned room: Max 19°C
- Hyper 212 Evo but I should get a 2x120mm AIO water cooler (if not, it’s too cheap in China where this PC lives – around £/$30)
- Need to buy more RAM because the old one was moved; I’ll have an 8GB DDR3
- BIOS: Biostar TA970 motherboard
- Overclocking: Not sure if I should try it, and what speed should I expect?

Thanks in advance.

The Biostar TA970 is compatible only with 140W CPUs. The 125W 8370 operates at 4Ghz, so you should anticipate around 4.1Ghz performance. The water cooler isn't the best fit for this motherboard. The CM 212 is sufficient for a 4.1Ghz overclock.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Could you clarify if you need instructions on overclocking or a list of PC components?
