Overclocking memory issues persist.
Overclocking memory issues persist.
Motherboard model: ASRock B550M Phantom Gaming
CPU: 5600X
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB @ 3600MHz
Placement: RAM installed in A2 B2, overclocked to 3600MHz.
Functionality: Worked for a few weeks initially, then PC stopped responding and USB powered off.
Reset BIOS, reinserted RAM in A2 B2 but still no response or power.
Tried other slots: Single RAM at B1/B2 failed; both A1/A2 worked.
A1 B1 didn’t work either.
A2 B2 also failed.
Considered the issue might be with the memory controller.
Check for visible components like the CPU and RAM. Test connectivity with a multimeter or by swapping parts. Look for error codes on the motherboard or system logs.
