Hi, I'm working with a x300 deskmini featuring the 5500GT. It runs on so-dimm RAM, and the BIOS only shows two possible voltages for RAM—1.2V and 1.35V. I purchased a 32GB 3200 kit (20-22-22-42) from PNY, featuring XLR8 silkscreen and a 1GX8S5ZF6L/8-AFB chip. It operates at 3600 MHz with voltages around 18-19V and includes some subliming adjustments, giving a bandwidth boost from about 44GB/s to over 52GB/s. The memory tests are solid, with multiple memtest86+ runs and more than 400 hours of uptime. When warmed up, it warms boot to 3733 with matching clock speeds, but cold starts struggle to reach those speeds. I'm seeking real-world insights from anyone who has done similar overclocking on this board or general tips for so-dimm RAM.

show a picture of the RAM IC for identification, it could be just some faulty part. From what I see, all other Samsung 8Gb chips and the 16Gb ones don’t perform well either. The chip seems to be limited by the low voltage range on the board. I’d suggest sticking with 3600 and being satisfied, since you won’t get good results without adjusting the voltage or using different components.

here's a picture of the ram, as I said the chips are silkscreened over. It's double sided (16 chips 1GB each), there is a screenshot of the SPD in my first post - 8bit chips (so 1Gx8) 16 banks, 2 ranks
