Hello, I'm facing difficulties pushing my memory to the 3000mhz it supports. I've tested everything from 2666mhz up to that exact number in the box. The default XMP settings didn't help much—after about 15 to 20 minutes of use, whether browsing or gaming, the system would freeze and require a reboot. My setup includes: CPU – Core i9 9900K, Motherboard – ASUS TUF Z390-Pro, Memory – Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2x16 at 3200mhz C16, Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8 at 3000mhz C16 (correct slots), 32GB and 16GB memory packs. I've also used the RX 580 graphics and a 7200rpm HDD with 960Evo SSD.

Just skip it and enjoy. The speed differences are minimal—around 1 to 5 FPS in games—and not worth the trouble.

XMP doesn't usually perform well. I've seen zero results with it. Unless you're doing advanced video editing or database work, you won't see much change. For me, casual gaming: no noticeable gap between 2133 and 2666.

LPX ram doesn't like overclocking. It's not going to make much of a difference for what you're doing, nothing you can really do about it. You could try to RMA the ram I guess stating that it didn't hit advertised speeds.
